Smiling faces, sun out and a standard of football that would rival some academy teams. This group of 7 boys gave a fantastic account of themselves back in February and made me one proud coach with great passing football and some fantastic team goals. Although they were disappointed to lose 2-1 in the final the boys were happy to achieve their goal of reaching the national finals which will be held at Dixie Grammar School in March.
Overall the boys played 9 games, won 7, drew 1 and lost 1. They conceded 3 goals and scored 22 with Adam Pashby bagging 10 overall!
Thanks to St. James School yet again for hosting brilliantly and the parents for their amazing support, coffee and shortbread!
