I love trying new sports especially with a bit of competition thrown in. Luckily for me I was with three close friends this weekend (who also love to compete) and I got to try my hand at some archery for the first time: Let me tell you it was awesome. En route I was apprehensive that we would simply be shooting at the traditional circular blue/red/yellow target but as it turned out we got to shoot at rubber animals which made the task at hand much more "caveman" like. The competition was tight and despite my epic eye shot in a tiny meerkat I was narrowly defeated by my mate Blair who had a final round worthy of Katniss Everdeen from Hunger Games (fair play mate). If you head up to CP or have any archery near you, get it done!
